"My experience at Barceló San Jose I must say exceeded all expectations. To the wonderful grounds, amazing pool and bar area to the dinning option (both restaurants) and probably the best hotel bar it’s big enough to be a lounge with great drink and food options. Hotel lobby entrance with a piano right in the middle. I would like to pay especially more attention to the three people who stood out the most to me. 1st Linsey she is part of the fabulous wait staff of the entire hotel. My first night I didn’t want to go out in the city and grab dinner cause I was traveling all day so I decided to have dinner on the property at the hotel bar/lounge and what a great decision that was. When I walked in Linsey greeted me with a great smile and ask how can I help you I told her I was here for dinner and she sat me right away with a drink and dinner menu explained my options for food and drinks.overall i never I had to wait for anything and Linsey really made sure my experience was wonderful. Keep up the great work Linsey. Secondly to the awesome team at the pool and bar area Orlando and Jessica. I was traveling all day and I needed a drink and something to eat. Upon my approach to the pool/bar area Orlando was the bartender (speaks great English) Orlando made sure I had a drink and food menu then introduced Jessica as his teammate she greeted me with a warm smile and mentions anythin you need we have it here covered at the pool. Service was top notch. Drinks and food were amazing A "

"It is a good, clean hotel. There is a shopping center nearby with a food court and good restaurant. Shuttle service was good. "

"We visited to celebrate our Honeymoon. This hotel was absolutely perfect. The wildlife, nature, and open design down the hallways were beautiful. The buffet breakfast is worth the extra expense for food to start off each day. We are gold status with Hilton so it was free for us. The service is amazing. Hotel staff are very attentive and seek to ensure you are satisfied with everything. The pool was very enjoyable with the pool bar. They also have a bar and restaurant immediately inside near the pool. This was truly a little oasis inside the city! We highly recommend!!"
