"My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Los Recuerdos for two nights. We had paid for the full board which by most definition is all meals. It was only breakfast. The food offered was not to an American pallet. no flame under the chaffing dishes so everything was cold. At check in I was told that I did not pay through Hotels.com I was not in a position to argue, being in Colombia and papers still in my suitcase, so I paid more than I agreed to with Hotels.com. Back at my room I check my paperwork...

"Sotavento is a lovely facility in a breathtaking setting. My room was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. I *loved* the jacuzzi! However, the facility was understaffed. It seemed there was only one staff member on duty, and s/he was multitasking with cooking, waiting tables, and managing the front desk (and more I'm sure). Though I may have been the only guest, there should have been at least two guest-facing staff on duty 24/7. I didn't choose to do any of the recreational activities, but if...

"It was an amazing place to stay very big view of the lake with two restaurants and a water sports area with jet skis and boats five star service all the way around they take it to your cabin in a little golf cart from the parking lot 100% recommend to stay here whenever you want"
