"The map on expedia is incorrect. This hotel is not in downtown guatape. It's a 10 minute ride away. However, 1) the hotel will call you a cheap tuktuk 2) you would have to tuktuk to the piedra anyway 3) there are tons of tuktuks in the town to bring you back. Just make sure you have pesos! There are ATMs in town. Although I was initially sad I couldn't walk out and explore the town, in the end I was very glad to have the peace and quiet (and lake access). "William was so helpful and happy to work with us if we needed anything. I really don't think he could be nicer :) The food was good, the rooms were clean and if anything came up that needed attention he took care of it immediately. Walking distance from town, but he would drive us in if needed. Great experience! Such a great family!!"

"I booked this place ahead a time and when I called them they said they don’t work with expedia and that my reservation didn’t exist. She was very rude and said it wasn’t her problem because she never listed this property on expedia, which is not true. Basically they lied to me and cause me a lot of trouble"
