"This was exactly as described, Massimo was very engaging and informative, he told the history around the house and surroundings, the place is quaint and cozy, (especially the little wood stove), it was exhilarating to come home to after visiting busy, noisy Florence and Venice, climbing the windy little road was an experience in itself, if you love peace and quiet this is the place. "We rented all three houses for 12 people, which worked very well. The grounds and the area are typically Tuscan, very charming and beautiful. The propertymanager is very helpful and available. The poolarea is particularly nice and the teenagers spent all day there :-) Nearby you’ll find Lucca, winetasting, hiking and many other activities. Highly recommendable."

"Ideal lovely location on a mt hillside with a beautiful sea view and mountain ranges behind us. Charming couple that own the house. Daniele was very helpful getting our dog the correct health certificate papers since we were visiting Italy for 3 months. He went over and above helping us...and we are very grateful. The house is as described-safe area and close to Lucca and Viareggio Beach and town...a fabulous area to visit!!! Perfect location and base to see all the sights in Tuscany and go on...

"Lovely property. Deep in the mountains of Tuscany. No air con needed as very cool in the house. Houses great really big and completely private. All the sounds you hear is running water and the birds. As we had been travelling from early morning it would have been nice if there had been a welcome pack with a few essentials as we were all so tired and the nearest supermarket was 20minutes away. "We have just returned from a week in Lucca. We had a lovely rine and particularly enjoyed the outside space which really make this rental. The pool was very welcome in the extreme heat and the garden space around the pool is great, with plenty of space to relax and dine. Always able to get shade too. It is 2 separate apartments which worked well as we were 2 families so it was nice to have our own space. The following areas were disappointing and not as expected or advertised - you are renting 2...

"We had the most wonderful stay at the villa which also served as our wedding venue. Giacomo was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure the villa was perfect for our wedding day. The onsite facilities are lovely and very well equipped. The views from many of the apartment windows are absolutely breathtaking. We could’t have found a better venue to host our friends and family in the lead up to our wedding day and as a wedding venue. We truly had the most perfect Tuscan wedding!"

"Giacomo has created a villa that manages to combine modern facilities/decoration with rustic charm. We were a group of 4 couples in our 50's, getting together as friends. The inside and outside spaces were excellently appointed. The views from the villa are simply stunning. Go with your eyes open, getting views like that means a 10/15 minute drive along a road/track that is fine but has to be taken carefully. But it's definitely worth it.
