"As a dutch family of three we stayed in Viletta Camelia for a week. The area is perfectly calm and quiet with a small playground around the corner, which our girl enjoyed a lot. The supermarket was also at walking distance. The contact with the house boss Daniele was very easy and comfortable. Long story short, absolute recommodation."

"This is a truly beautiful house with long views down to Lucca and olive groves all around. It is well-furnished and we slept really soundly. Massimo, the host, is extremely gracious and offers many great ideas for local activities and day trips, and once you find it the local supermarket is very well stocked. Fantastic all-round

"Incredible facilities, rooms are cleaned really well, staff are always very attentive. To be able to access the grotta is a real highlight, it's an incredible place, much bigger than expected and the facilities are again outstanding. Spa had a lot of choice, the outdoor swimming pools were unexpected given we visited in December and it was never too busy, often it was just us. There are also lots of hiking options from just next to the property, starting from inside the hotel grounds. "

"This is a beautiful hotel, easily accessed by one of the portals to the city. There is limited parking available on site. The lobby and breakfast area are lovely, Staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in one of the family rooms and it was large, comfortable, well decorated, quiet, and a short walk from the main hotel. We used the bikes cycling on the city walls; it was super convenient to have those on site. I would highly recommend this hotel for families."
