"Initially we thought the photographs showed the property in a better light than upon inspection. However this feeling wore off during our stay. The heated pool was great, although the manual cover was a bit of a pain to pull over each night. Didn’t use the hot tub or the sauna, more than happy to lay outside in the sunshine with occasional dips into the pool. However, some of the sun beds need replacing, the webbing has stretched to the extent that your back is resting on the metal support bars...

"This is a lovely large Villa which was perfect for us as we were 3 families holidaying together. Plenty of outdoor space and the shared pool (although we were the only ones in it) was well kept and a good size for swimming and diving. It's a 10 min walk down a steep hill to the town. Very manageable, but if you struggle then there are plenty of taxis around for a lift back up (7 Euros). Lovely area - very spanish which was great. Almunicar is a 20 min walk along the beach front. We are older and were stunned to find around 34 steep steps, which we had to carry two 23 kilo bags down.On entering the house there was no power or light. We tried to ring the tel.no given in Spain and the UK. No-one answered. Eventually my husband found the fuse box and sorted it out. "We were an extended family- from late seventies tk babies and all in between. The villa/casa rural was absolutely amazing. The views of the surroundings and Frigiliana town are incredible. Emilia made sure we had arrived safely, touched base to let us know there was a town festival whilst there - so to show our reservation to be let through and for recommendation on which acts and actvities to participate in. "We are a family of 4 (kids aged 10 and 4 years old) and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this house. It is spacious and very clean. Although rustic this house is very well equipped with everything you could need. The air conditioning in the bedrooms is excellent and welcome on hot evenings. The pool and the surrounding area are fabulous. Very clean and well maintained. The views are spectacular and well worth the short journey up the hill. We had no problems at all and would love to return here...

"The property was immaculately clean and very well appointed. The outdoor spaces were particularly great, especially the bbq area where we were able to cook, eat and enjoy the views. The garden and pool area is beautifully kept with lots of seating and areas to chill out, set amongst lovely plants and flowers.
