"Beautiful cottage, small but ideal for two. Lovely gardens. A bit of traffic noise because it's right above a bend on the main road to Frigiliana and, as others have mentioned, dogs barking through the night are off putting, but probably out with the owners control. Some information on the surrounding area, amenities etc. would be helpful.. The electric blanket, bathroom heater, air con heating and of course a great wood burning stove made this an excellent, cosy winter stay"

"Lovely, spacious and well appointed property. The gardens are very well kept and all our needs were catered for. The children loved the space, pool and play area. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedding was fresh, clean and tidy. It is secure and safe environment and we will use it again. "This was our first holiday for 3 years so there was a heavy weight of expectation, which the property lived up to in full. The location is wonderful, with tranquil terraces looking down to the Mediterranean. The accommodation is simple, but beautifully furnished. The playa del canuelo is lovely and even in August there was still plenty of space (although the limited number of umbrellas to rent fill up by the afternoon). "Lovely house. Nothing worked. Owner never checked appliances worked before we arrived. We were made to pay for new appliances, beds held together with cable ties and a live chandelier which my husband got a shock off. Not suitable for very young or elderly as steep steps have no hand rails."

"Large apart-hotel by the beach, 15 minutes scenic walk on the promenade to Nerja. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with a balcony and beautiful views. "Excellent from start to finish. Stayed for one night although we have stayed before. Beautiful location, hotel, grounds, staff and restaurant. Mentioned at check in it was my wifes birthday. We went for a walk and when we came back there was a bottle of Cava in the bedroom, also when we went for our evening meal they came out with a birthday cake and sang happy birthday. Lovely staff and we had a really lovely time, would thoroughly recommend."

"What a great location. Easy access and friendly staff plus large rooms, great pressure from the shower, clean, and just steps away from overlooking the Mediterranean. What more could you ask for?! I did bring a car and there is a public parking lot couple hundred feet away where you can roll your luggage over to the hotel fairly easily. Street parking might be difficult, but it is available if you’re willing to hunt for one. Our room had a small step out balcony that overlook the pedestrian street leading to the Balcón Europa. There are people that are obviously walking back-and-forth so if absolute quiet is what you’re looking for, then perhaps ask for a room off of that main pedestrian area, but even with the windows closed, it was hardly noticeable. We would not hesitate to stay here again when visiting Nerja. "

A Lovely stay at the Rui Monica

"I had a lovely 2 week stay at Rui Monica. The staff were very friendly , Food delicious lots of choice, very good entertainment in the evenings. So easy to get to the beach front from Hotel. I had a little accident were I fell and the staff were amazing so kind, caring and helpful. Antonio the manager was lovely. Thank you all for your kindness and help."
