"The hotel is advertised as having laundry facilities but does not. The lift wasn’t working and the power went out twice in the night, waking us up."

"The hotel is half way through a refurb so reception and breakfast are in a portacabin. We booked in for 2 nights but the the keycard failed after 24hrs, the aircon didn't work on the second evening either, breakfast was missing basic items like butter"

"Room was very clean and spacious for a family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Breakfast was better than expected- good continental and also scrabble eggs and bacon. Restaurant across the parking also very convenient and food was lovely."

"We were driving from Bordeaux to Frankfurt and chose this hotel from Expedia’s site on a Friday because it had onsite parking and a restaurant. After checking in the receptionist told us (a) the hotel’s parking area was not safe so we should not leave any bags in the car and (b) the restaurant was closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday ! We couldn’t get a refund but we found another hotel a few kms away with a secure parking lot and two restaurants, so we relocated. "

"Good hotel...comfortable, quiet and clean. staff pleasant and helpful. Good breakfast. Car needed to get into Moulins centre and the one way system to get back to the hotel was challenging."

"le site est très joli le local produits en libre service pour ceux qui arrivent en retard est tout simplement génial tout le monde est super le resto trop beau et fonctionnel .Pensez à réserver la chambre handicapés si c'est le cas sinon cela fait un peut court pour se mouvoir j'ai fait l'erreur ne la faite pas (tout est parfait) beaucoup d'attention de la part de SAM"

"We had a lovely stay at Domaine de Rymska for one night. The property was beautiful and the meal we had at the restaurant was amazing. The staff were really welcoming, accomodating, and professional. The weather wasn't the greatest so we couldn't spend time outside, and there is nothing nearby, but if you are looking for a night or two to unwind with some good food and ambiance it's great! I wasn't able to confirm any details by calling the property because of a language barrier but that didn't bother me because my wife is French and speaks natively. "The owner was welcoming and friendly; the house worked because we were family but interconnecting bedrooms would make it a bit odd perhaps for larger groups. The outside space is good; the inside a bit split up - but the weather was good so this didn’t matter."

"This house although not in the middle of a tourist centre is absolutely fabulous, bright and airy with plenty of space to enjoy the table football, mini snooker and we saw a table tennis table hiding in the garage waiting for outside weather I guess! The house was warm and Olivier was available to change temperatures remotely without needing to disturb us..... The kitchen is very well equipped and had we been there in the summer we would have enjoyed the pool too! The house was spotlessly clean...

Extreme dissapointment

The demeanor of the lady checking my wife in was beyond a Parisian cold. Given what my wife has explained she was just rude. And my wife is someone who never likes to complain about customer service. The coup de gras was her being asked to pay the next morning after I had already paid. My wife thought I had paid on the website but she is not confrontational. Overall, there is another hotel chain in France that shares the name of a bird. I would highly recommend you go there. For the same price you will receive the same accomodations but with kinder service. But I must admit there was a lady the next day that we spoke to, Julie, who was very kind. Yet, I will never reserve another room there. In case the staff would like to reply and say this has to do with the restaurant being closed on Sunday, it does not. While we were surprised that it was closed we were prepared and I found my wife a place close by she could stop for a takeaway salad before she arrived at the hotel. Yet I do wonder how your guests eat on a Sunday. If it is as ridiculous as your scoff implied then all restaurants must be closed on Sunday and of course they aren't. Train your people to have some manners. Teach them, no customers, no job"
