"Lovely newly renovated villa in a great location. It is very well equipped with one important omission. There is no provision for rubbish disposal. It seems that the expectation is for guests to place their rubbish in the private bins of a nearby campsite. It transpired that the campsite owners were not privy to this arrangement and we’re not best pleased when I tried to put my bag of rubbish in their bins. At the end of our stay, the agent tried to tell me that we had to take our rubbish away...

"We had a great stay at the villa. It is brand new and very high quality. The villa itself is very large with lots of room in the kitchen and living area. The outdoor area is great. A large pool with great outdoor seating areas (including a BBQ) as well as a petanque area and basketball area! The villa is very close to the beaches (only a short walk) and maybe a 5-10 minute drive to Les Portes-en-Re. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to a large family or 2 families (the space...

"The host famy are very nice people and explained everything well. The house is light and welcoming. The outside area has a great pool and the garden is large with various seating options. We especially enjoyed eating outside at the large table. It is advertised as 9 people but realistically two beds were on the floor, so suits 7 perfectly. We very much appreciated the late check out due to no booking following us. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"The hob didn’t work the lights outside around the table were not working, the pool was not maintained and we were not able to swim in it . As a consequence of the cooker not working I had to pay for six of us to eat put all the time! And the food I bought from the supermarket to cook went off !! My daughter is visually impaired and fell down the steps because the lights were not working!! I contacted the manager on 10 different occasions and she did not get back to me . "House is larger than it looks on the web page. Pool was wonderful and a great temperature. Lots of sun loungers etc in garage. Only downside was there were no fans and bedrooms are all very hot."

"The property, swimming pool and terrace in front of house are excellent. The location perfect. However, the garden at rear is very tired and dirty. We would love to return but only if there are improvements to the rear of the house."
