"This small 2 star aparthotel really outshines some of the other 3 or 4 star hotels I've stayed in. They really take care of you and make you feel at home, with complimentary snacks, coffee, tea and fruit in the main sitting room that makes you feel like you're in cozy living room. There's artwork and carefully thought out finishes and touches everywhere. The hostess at the front desk, Adriana, was a gem! She was very kind and helpful with loads of information. The location was great, I walked to every major landmark, restaurants and shops. I never had to take public transportation. Be aware that there is no Uber, just taxis if need be. The only negative issue was the train railway was right across the street, so you can hear it coming and going during business hours. So not too early in the morning and not too late in the evening. Not a big deal of you're out and about all day. "

The rooms are amazing. The areas throughout the hotel are incredible. The team is first rate and were very helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is perfectly situated and is in close proximity to every key area. We fell in love with San Sebastian and so we look forward to returning to the Hotel Maria Cristina. Thank you!!"
