"We always enjoy our stay at the Lawns when we come to Retford to visit family and friends. The rooms are much bigger than average and there is plenty of wardrobe space. Lovely big towels and a good supply of hot drinks and bottled water.Extremely good value."

We had been out drinking and was a late night the morning after I asked if we could extend our check out time the request was accepted at no extra cost. "Nightmare!! When I booked this place I was given an option to pay when I get to the hotel, but this isn’t the case. Plus the post code on here isn’t to the location of the hotel either grrrrrr!!! Plus on the Sunday there was any hot water. I must say Jan was great. I won’t be returning again. "

"We have stayed here many times before and since last stay downstairs has been revamped,only thing is looks like small single rooms have been turned into doubles,not enough room to swing a cat,washing in sink had to be done with bathroom door open,we never used shower as it was all too small and hard to manouevre round in,door had number lock on but lights never came on so that was frustrating,this was room 7,sorry but we wont be staying again."
