Ingrid and Michael (owners/managers?) and the head housekeeper Slady each went out of their way to be friendly and welcoming. The gingham duvets and pillow cases were charming, but the towels, oddly, were a bit threadbare."

"Anna was a superb host! It was my first time traveling internationally, and she made it a very welcoming stay with her warm demeanor. Breakfast buffet is plentiful and a guest mobility card is provided (different from summer card). I booked a double room which is small (I expected as such) but still very clean. Close to all the main transportation areas and walkable to downtown and Lake Zell. The view from my window was picturesque. Highly recommend!"

The hotel has great amenities (like the sauna). I would strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting Lofer. We loved the hotel and Lofer so much that we kept extending our stay! "For UK guests, having to take your own bedding and towels is a negative. Location is not a two-minute walk into town: ten minutes in, nearly twenty back as it’s all up! The bus from town finishes at 5pm. Kitchenette is facilitated - just. A dining table would be nicer than the fixed worktop, especially as there is room. The specification suggests there is a bedroom but it is a studio apt with a separate bathroom. Good sized balcony and large glass doors a definite bonus with a decent view."
