"Here is a rare find in the middle of Umbria just outside Citta di Castello. Area is agricultural, quiet and safe. 5 minutes away is the town with several supermarkets and clean laundry facilities as well as the 'castle fort' itself. Our room, Room 5, was large and clean. Arezzo and parts West, Urbino and Fano on the Adriatic within two hours car drive. Spacious parking. This is an excellent place to stay and a great central location to come back to."

"Badia il Vingone is an old stone country house. I stayed in the top floor of a separate cottage with a roof terrace overlooking the swimming pool. Great pool. "Situated in remote hamlet in the hills this agritourismo is in a wonderful setting and has a good reasonably priced restaurant and serves an adequate breakfast. We loved the place. Our only concern is that it is fairly remote and as we only needed a stopover on our way south maybe some of you may not find it convenient..that said..we will stay there again!!"

"John & Dianne were utterly lovely and made every effort for us. The listing is very clear and if you're looking for peace and quiet in a serene valley, you couldn't do better. The track should be driven with care but after the first time accompanied by John, it's not too bad. I wouldn't bring a car with low clearance though. John and Dianne are in their home next door which was nice to know. They very much left us to it and didn't mind us playing our music by the pool. Otherwise we didn't see...
