"This property is ideally placed to visit Grassington and walks around the area. It is clean, well appointed and first class en suite bathroom facilities. The down side is that there are a lot of rooms and a number of the occupants came into this venue later into the night. The doors are vintage as are the locks etc, so we found it a bit noisy and had a disturbed sleep. "

"Wow what a beautiful place. Fabulous room, huge comftable bed with modern bathroom and very refreshing power shower.The room was well stocked with lively teas, coffees and biscuits, no scrimping ! Following morning we had a really beautiful breakfast in a gorgeous breakfast room from a lovely friendly team. It was all topped off with a fall overnight of snow, so we woke up to a stunning winter wonderland. Cant recommend highly enough we will definitely be back and definitely to the Staverley...

"Grassington is a really picturesque village, the property is right in the heart of the village, good pubs etc. We had 2 full days and did long walks along the River Wharfe each day - beautiful countryside. Comfort, condition & eco are all rated high considering the property is apprx 400 years old. The breakfast is top notch whatever your diet, and lots of it! One caveat - the driveway is very narrow with stone walls - a big car could be a problem."

"I was a lone traveller . Staying at the Belmont was perfect for me. Compact room with nice shower Tv and fridge . Bed was comfy I received text from the owner asking if everything was ok and can turn the fridge off if i was a light sleeper. It was close to conference centre which i was attending. Would use the Belmont for future visits. "

"This hotel had beem recommend to us and it did not disappoint. The room (crows nest) was superb, the facilities were spot on and the menu was excellent (festive theme) great value and food was mega tasty. Cant fault our stay at all"

"Very cozy for a solo traveller. I like it when BnB's cater for them in that the room was no bigger than it needed to be and bathroom had shower/bath. The breakfasts were excellent. Fresh fruit buffet with a big selection of berries, cereals and some ham and cheese. As well as this they offer fresh cooked full English and other things you would get at a restaurant. "We had a two night stay at the Fountains Guest house. Great location to walk into town and we managed to get a space on the rear car park. Smart entry system worked well so no need for room keys - a bonus . Super comfortable bed with modern bathroom and shower - small bathroom but perfectly adequate. "Nice stay at the Arc. Kim is a friendly host. Room was a little cold but a supplementary heater was provided which made it cosier. Recommend it for access to central Harrogate. Bars and restaurants all close by. Parking was a bit difficult and Limited to on street but limited by a permit from the establishment. "
