"It started when we passed the gates of the property. With its olive trees colored by some cypresses, the colors of the stones and this special colors ofbthe Toscan earth greeted us. Then we received by very friendly and smiling people who showed us around the property, the Orangerie for breakfast, the 12 century room for dinner, the pool ,the fitness, the pond with ducks, gooses and many different birds, the muttons, the alpacas..you do feel close to the nature. And we settled in a small flat with typical terracotta tiles an white walls. The fully equipped kitchen, a living with a fireplace, modern bathroom and large bedroom furnished with ancient wooden furniture..we loved the people who always went out of their way to accommodate us. On our last night, the lady in charge of breakfast even restarted the ovens and prepared a focaccia because we were going to miss breakfast the coming day.Lovely..what else to say..we would return there again with pleasure. "Waking up in the morning to the Tuscan sun rising above the surrounding hills was a magical moment I will never forget. The view from the front yard of the property was panoramic and picturesque. It almost made me forget how hard it was to find the place in the dark, with inadequate directions. Almost. If I had to do it over again, I’d arrive late afternoon in the daylight. The property is only accessible through a rugged dirt road. Also the address given didn’t work in my Maps app. Only when I put in “La Veronica resort” did I get accurate info. But once there, my wife and I adored the cottage, and wished we could stay longer. No suggestions of local attractions (we found some amazing activities) no connection to the nearby St. Stefanos winery, no welcome and explanation of the property by someone who spoke English. But a gem nonetheless. Thank you. "

"We stayed here for 4 nights. Tessa provided quick responses to our questions. The villa has an unbelievable view of the Tuscan hills. The 4 bedrooms were very comfortable and it had a nice open living and kitchen area. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook. On our last night, Tessa provided a chef who made a great dinner for us. The road to the villa is a very rough dirt road that is 3/4 of a mile. Plan extra time to get anywhere! When you arrive at the villa, there is a gate that needs to be opened, which we did not know about but figured it out. The coop in Greve is the place to get your groceries."
