It's great for surfing and visiting Bigbury/Burgh Island. Salcombe is a short drive and there are many National Trust places to visit. Note that the drive down to the property is a typical road to the coast (e.g. steep and narrow)."

"We had an excellent stay here. Beautiful property with plenty of space for a group of 8 of us. Including children between the ages of 1 and 5 years old. We made use of the swimming facilities on site. Mary is a lovely host. Who answered all of our questions promptly . I would not hesistate to stay here again "

"The Rocket cottage was everything we’d hoped for ! Fantastic location looking out over the sea, good access to the beach below which is dog friendly, what more could we ask for. The cottage was peaceful, cosy and warm, internet connection a little weak in places but we managed. The bed was comfortable and having access to a washer dryer was a bonus. Portwrinkle is a beautiful spot to explore northern Cornwall and we would definitely recommend The Rocket cottage as a place to stay, we loved it ! "

"We booked the cottage near to my partners work for his 40th, it was a perfect location. Hot tub was amazing and main bedroom was more than we could wish for in a comfortable stay. We had everything we needed. Would recommend for those who love an adventure on the coastal paths although they are steep. We will def love to visit again"

"This is an amazing location, feel like your floating 50feet above the sea. Love Kingsands anyway and have for years. Only down side is no outside space at all to store paddle boards etc or dry stuff. But the village is tight for space everywhere."
