"Beautiful view and very accommodating staff. A few items were indicated as inclusions in our room such as tea service and mini fridge that were not actually in our room. The front desk explained that since I booked through Hotels.com these were items that are available in some rooms but not necessarily in all rooms. Staff did find us a mini fridge and kettle part way through our stay. Continental breakfast was usually out of several items by 9:30 so make sure to go early if you would like...

"The apartment was clean and had plenty of beds for the family. They use only sheets on the bed though. When I asked for blankets, the lady at the desk managed to come up with two but said that was all they had, so plan to bring a blanket. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the location is perfect. "The rooms are spacious and very clean with amenities such as washer / dryer in the unit... The property itself has an idyllic location - our bedrooms and living room had the most amazing view. The beach was a short walk down the hill and very private. "What makes this property great is the staff. Everyone is very friendly. The IGA and spiceland mall are within walkable distance as are several restaurants if you don't want to stay on the resort all the time. The rooms and facilities are gradually being updated. The rooms are spacious and the views can't be beat. If you don't like to walk up hills though, you will not be happy here as the rooms and villas are built in the side of a hill."

"Absolutely fabulous hotel! I was overwhelmed with its beauty. It was so quiet at the beginning of the year,so we had pool just for ourselves. Incredible comfort,peaceful and breathtaking view. Very,very tasty food in the restaurant and most of all - stuff is extremely flexible and helpful. They let us check in hours before and check out in the late afternoon,as we had an evening flight. That was life changing. Thank you so much for everything!"

Nice stopover hotel

"Stayed the night before catching a connecting ferry. The staff were really friendly and helpful - they helped with places to eat and booked a hotel taxi for us. The room was good - basic but clean. The path up to the Ocean View Room is quite steep - I was aware of this and staff did offer to help with baggage. The views from the room were worth it. "

Modern Elegant Residence - Prime Downtown Location

Not what I expected. Very disappointing.

"The photos of the location of the unit do not show how difficult it is to find nor how the parking was. While there were a bazillion signs saying no smoking, there were no signs about how to work the hot water for the house or the shower. When I reached out to the property manager, his response was that the owner said, "It is obvious. It is just like ever other Caribbean island." That was neither helpful nor good service. The property manager said the switch was on "the" pipe. I kept asking what pipe? His was response was, "the pipe, like every other Caribbean island." it turns out that the shower handle could only be turned a few millimeters to get warm water. Anything past that, the water was cold. There was never any tru hot water in the entire house. That made me wonder if all of the kitchen dishes were washed with only cold water. All in all, this was a very disappointing experience. If asked, I would not recommend this unit to anyone but the most desperate."

"Wonderful home away from home. The host Jacqui was excellent. Prompt in communicating with you on anything and made you feel most welcome. Very warm and accommodating. The apartment was great. More than enough utensils, pots and pans. Extremely clean. AC, ceiling fan and washing machine, clothes lines and your own private back yard was a plus. Awesome and pictureque view. Amazing sunrise and sunsets seen from the balcony. Postcard views of the Carenage and St.George's as the apartment is in a perfect location overlooking these. You are directly above the Carenage and can see the ferry that go into Caricou. Took the ferry to caricou. Very easy to get to and fro into St. Georges, grand Anse etc. as the bus stops are close by as well as the bus stand. We took varying buses and just went for the drive to see different places as you cannot get lost from this location. Perfect location to explore. Went hacking, tubing, exploring and got there quite well from this location, great spot. Free cardio exercise lolol every day as you had to walk up and down a few steps and inclines to get to and fro fom the apartment. I enjoyed that. Restaurants, supermarkets, malls and shops all around as well as the beaches like grand Anse, BBC Beach, just a short bus ride (10 minutes max) Will stay here at Ocean Rentals when I visit Grenada again. I give it a 10/10. "

Holiday Home is a beautiful house located close to the city centre of St George

"I needed to find another apartment. The property was not as advertised. There were cracks on the stairs. There was a smell of urine in the bathroom. There were debris on the side of the property. We couldn’t use the microwave because it smokes when in use, the refrigerator was cool and not cold. There laundry hanging in the laundry room"

Amazing apartment with beautiful views

"My husband and I stayed 2 weeks at Oceans Rental Apartments top floor and the views of St. George were incredible! We loved watching and listening each morning as the city woke up, cargo ships came in to unload, and cruise ships maneuvered into port. The apartment was clean, just as it appears online, AC and ceiling fans made for a comfortable stay. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything you need to cook meals, washing machine and drying line in the backyard was a bonus. Host Jacqui was wonderful and answered several questions we had as it was our first trip to Grenada. Her assistant George helped us with showing us how things worked in the VRBO. The location was great and quiet as it is up in the hills a few roads. We were able to walk down to the ferry to visit Carricou for snorkeling. Restaurants and grocery stores Are close by. We rented a small car and there is parking on the one way road in front of apartment but need a small car to get past other parked cars. We used a driver for a tour of the island Cutty McMeo and he was amazing. Highly recommend this VRBO."

Amazing view of St. Georges inner harbour

Joan's apartment is a gem!

"My husband and I were looking for a place to stay in Grenada that was away from tourists and that would allow us to feel more like we were living in St.Georges rather than just visiting (even though we were only there for 2 weeks). Joan's apartment fit the bill perfectly. It was clean, comfortable, and a great home base for when we wanted to explore. When we needed to get a bit of our professional work done, the wifi worked well and we were able to work on the back deck while enjoying the beautiful view of the city and harbor. Just a note about St.Georges, not about the apartment specifically: a person must be able to walk up and down steep hills, and must be able to get used to walking on the streets as there are very few sidewalks. We adapted just fine and actually really enjoyed ourselves, but also, we didn't realize this was the case when we booked. We also rented a car, and for the number of times we used it, we could have just used taxis, as they are very easy to use."
