"What makes this property great is the staff. Everyone is very friendly. The IGA and spiceland mall are within walkable distance as are several restaurants if you don't want to stay on the resort all the time. The rooms and facilities are gradually being updated. The rooms are spacious and the views can't be beat. If you don't like to walk up hills though, you will not be happy here as the rooms and villas are built in the side of a hill."

"Check-in was easy and quick. As for the area out and around the hotel, dirty and unkept. I realize that is not the responsibility of Sandals but it does make the outside are less attractive. We did travel to the market where the cruise ships dock. Lots of shops there, all the same kind of tourist souvenirs. We did have to arrange travel to and from town and the traffic was awful. "
