"14 of us 1 dog came up for my friends birthday for a snowboarding trip - Sunrise was an easy 25 min drive from the cabin and I was so happy to be able to bring my dog to see snow for her first time! The cabin was great - very homey, with a fireplace on each level, nice tv with soundbar you can connect via Bluetooth to play music, and my favorite part - THE KITCHEN! I made everyone breakfast, dinner and dessert at the cabin one day and the double ovens with the large stove top was amazing. Plus they have so many pots & pans for you to use The cabin is pretty much in the middle of nowhere, in a tiny town of maybe 50 people, so was fairly shocked that the local convenient store that is about a 5 min drive had a pretty decent selection of groceries & booze! We will definitely be back on our next snowboarding trip to sunrise!"

"All the reviews were spot on about this place! Communication was excellent. The cabin is very well kept and clean. Comfortable beds, plenty of clean linens and towels. Very quiet place and very accessible from the main road. We would stay here again!"

"The cabin/house is amazing, roomy and nestled in a beautiful location. We enjoyed snowboarding at Sunrise, fishing in Greer and hiking. There are a lot of rules regarding the community but we made the best of activities outside of the community. "

"This cabin was the perfect stay for our ski get away. Note yes this cabin is old and is not a brand new place which the owner is up front about it in the description. That’s what we loved about it, this cute little historic cabin that has so much character. We all loved it! My kids especially loved the old 13 inch tv in the one room they made me laugh as they were so confused by why it was so large. I think every rental place should have something from the 90s it was awesome. Sandy is a great host!"
