Jeany was an unbelievable host. She was so responsive and helpful. The place was absolutely spotless when we got there, and Jeany's warmth really set a great tone for the weekend.
The place was very nice, although I do think the pictures make it seem a little nicer and more modern than it really is. For what it's worth, only the top two floors have central air (although the floor unit on the first floor is quite effective), and the sliding door on the first floor is a huge pain since it gets stuck so often. Jeany was amazing--when we told her about this she stopped by with some WD40 to try and help the situation (but unfortunately the issue is more structural than that.). Additionally, some of the furniture that isn't pictured is clearly quite old, and in general the place is a mix of super nice bathrooms and art and some furniture, with some really older stuff. For example, the master bathroom has a "european style" shower, which is basically just a bath, with no ability to shower--probably cool for some, but a bit of a pain for us. Or another weird thing--the 2nd floor has all marble floors, which, is just a weird vibe :)
However, none of this takes away enough to stop me from giving the place 5 stars. My friends would certainly return again. The dock is amazing, the two included kayaks are a really nice touch. The bathrooms are all really nice. Great water pressure. The lake is AMAZING and we rented a boat from Murphy's cove marina so easily and had a BLAST. The kitchen is really nice, really large. As mentioned, the art in the house is very tasteful and the overall architecture is beautiful. The grill is hooked up and easy to use. Again. Great place, even better host.
