"Excellent location for our visit to Monticello and Charlottesville. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and the foothills scenery - plus wildlife - was beautiful. The weather was a bit cool for the hot tub but the farm and pastures were exactly the respite for which we were planning. Our host, Steve, called to check in and offer recommendations. Great visit to Monticello, Jefferson Vineyards, the Highlands, Boars Head and Charlottesville."

"We absolutely loved our stay at this charming cottage in Tyro, VA! The property is a true retreat, with a tranquil stream running through the yard and a spacious, fenced-in area that was perfect for enjoying the outdoors in privacy. The cottage itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The highlight was definitely the serene surroundings. Waking up to the sound of the stream and spending evenings in the large yard made us feel completely...

"This tiny house was great for some alone time with your partner. The only downsides were, there was a coffee pot you could make coffee on the stove, but no coffee maker. Your are set out in the country some, so some insects are to be expected, but they mostly stayed on the first floor, there was a decent amount of ants in the kitchen (windows were rustic, so they were coming in there) we just kept any food in the fridge. The handle on the tub is broken off, and we found it weird that already...

"Our hiking trip to Shenandoah Nat park was unexpectedly enhanced by our stay at Birds and Bees cottage! What a lovely, comfortable place with amazing view of the Blue Ridge Mountains and acres of pastures. The turkeys and llamas were so interesting to watch. I particularly liked when the turkeys gobbled in unison! The owners were very nice and informative. Would definitely stay again and recommend."
