"We loved the location, and it's was fun to visit with the animals. Wish we were able to sample some of the chicken eggs. There is a bit of deferred maintenance, some water damage in the kitchen. Would also have been great if there was a hair dryer available, especially as the weather gets colder. All in all a fun stay at a farm with a great location."

"I can’t say enough about how perfect our stay was! The owners were extremely communicative and helpful. The house was on a stunning secluded piece of land outside Charlottesville and offered incredible views. The house was very well appointed and they certainly thought of everything. We would absolutely be back again. "

"We rented the home for its proximity to Wintergreen for a quick skiing trip,and it was perfect. A cozy older home with a cabin like feel. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Owners were great, get back to you quickly if you have questions. Definitely rent again if we come back to the area."

"This property is pretty expensive for a one-person weekend retreat, and I was worried I would regret it. I didn't--not one little bit. The house is so incredibly comfortable and spotless and easy. And the sauna is truly incredible. I used it a LOT. The view is lovely as well, and it's an easy drive to some great hikes. I highly recommend this place. "

"The date of my stay was Sun Feb 9 - Tues Feb 11, 2025. It was a great place to stay with beautiful views. Our stay was short. We were there for my son to participate in WASI- Wintergreen Alpine Special Invitational. Travel to the Mountain Inn for ski competition and celebration was easy. I really enjoyed having the full kitchen so we could make breakfast each day. The washer and dryer were helpful for keeping ski bibs clean and dry."

"We have stayed here twice in the last two months. Both rooms were immaculately clean! Front office staff was pleasant and accommodating both times (It was the same woman both times...I just can't remember her name. ) If you are going to stay here, you so need to bring a hair dryer, conditioner (shampoo is provided), creamer( if you don't like French vanilla)"

"Our girls getaway was perfect! The house was just as described and very clean!!! I’m a stickler for clean and every nook and cranny was spotless. There was only one tiny inconvenience with the hot hub not being filled quite enough and maybe not cleaned before we came because of a film on the surface. But the owner/host responded immediately. "Great experience even with a maintenance issue. We did have an issue with room 425 having no working shower and very weak water pressure in the toilet. This was not discovered until later in the evening. The front desk was very helpful. Moving rooms was mad possible to the room one door down. Maintenance did arrive the very next morning. We completely understand it being the weekend that maintenance is probably only on call. I would suggest though that when they have a service call, you have the following protocol in place: 1. Have some sort of identification tag or such on the employee's person. 2. Have a way to notify the room guest that maintenance is on sight, and would like to come up for repairs. It was a bit startling for my daughter to have a strange man enter her room as she was sleeping. She did hear him knock, but did not have time to answer the door before he came in himself. Thank you for your prompt response though. Your front desk staff for all your shifts were friendly, helpful, and professional."
