"My family of 8 stayed 3 nights and 4 days at this beautiful cabin it was perfect to have a reset for the new years. The pictures listed didn’t do any justice for the reality of this place it was immaculate and very clean everything you needed was there. It was space for everyone the patio and fire pit was our favorite. The host was very friendly and responded very quickly to anything we asked. "Nice property. The check in process was good but there was nothing included about how to work the A/C. After searching for a thermostat for several minutes, I realized that it's controlled by a Remote Control and it was in Celsius temps so it was confusing. I finally found a video online how to change it to Fahrenheit. The actual property was good and comfortable. No complaints. Easy to get to from Caddo State Park and Backwater Jacks. "

"Spent 2 nights over Columbus Day weekend with our 2 teenagers at this sweet little cabin. The cabin is nice and cozy and has everything you need. Beds are comfortable, the screened patio is perfect to have your meals and enjoy the sounds of the swamp around. There is a firepit on the little peninsula behind the cabin were we spent most of our time outdoors. We also used the kajaks that were provided to get out on the lake and it’s really beautiful to go through the trees. Overall a great little...

"Very quiet. TV remotes, difficukt to operate, tv in bedroom turned on but no channels..oh well we spent most of time outdoors just needed for news and raining down time. Front door handle very loose. Ice maker no cubes. Entry road ruff. Comfortable and clean."

"My children and I decided to get away for the week to spread my husband’s ashes. He loved Spanish moss, so we knew that the area would be perfect for him. The house we stayed out was amazing. It was beautiful and had everything we could need. I have zero complaints. We went into Jefferson one day for lunch, explored the state park and kayaked for hours. We will definitely be back."

"This is the 2nd stay (different cabin) on this property. Great location, convenient to Shreveport and towns just across the boarder. Love the lake and nice relaxing kayaking it provides. "

"Great property! Old, but clean and remodels make it feel newer and nicer. The listing wasn't completely accurate as there were no canoes to speak of. I can't say for certain we would have used them if there were, but I was looking forward to the option when booking. The amenities details also say there is a playground, but there is no playground on this property. Other than that, it was nice, the internet worked well, and the area was quiet."

"We traveled with our 5 & 7 year old boys. They were 3&5 last time we visited and never stopped talking about "Miss DeeDe's cabin"- so we returned. We had so much fun again!
