"Spent 2 nights over Columbus Day weekend with our 2 teenagers at this sweet little cabin. The cabin is nice and cozy and has everything you need. Beds are comfortable, the screened patio is perfect to have your meals and enjoy the sounds of the swamp around. There is a firepit on the little peninsula behind the cabin were we spent most of our time outdoors. "The host was extremely communicative and offered access to kayaks, a paddle board, and a canoe to check out the local lake, which I would highly recommend. The area is quiet and about 20-25 mins from downtown Shreveport eateries and attractions. There are a few other cabins that are quite close, but the other guests staying there were quiet and courteous. Overall great experience."

"Very quiet. TV remotes, difficukt to operate, tv in bedroom turned on but no channels..oh well we spent most of time outdoors just needed for news and raining down time. Front door handle very loose. Ice maker no cubes. Entry road ruff. Comfortable and clean."

"The house is very cute. Love the decor for a lake house. The property being on the beautiful lake was the best. We went the middle of June. The window units are good but just couldn’t keep up in the afternoons. I will go in Spring or the Fall next time."

"We traveled with our 5 & 7 year old boys. They were 3&5 last time we visited and never stopped talking about "Miss DeeDe's cabin"- so we returned. We had so much fun again! This time the boys are bigger and they are better fisherman and we're so excited to catch some pretty bass. Again, "Miss DeeDees hospitality was awesome. "It was our 1 year anniversary and wanting to relax out of Dallas Metro area. It was quiet and the birds/squirrels were fun to watch. Owners of the outpost were helpful and a pleasure to visit with. When I messaged the property owners, they responded quick and were nice. However, the cabin we stayed in smelt a bit funky when we got there like mildew. The bathroom floor was gross sticky in front of the toilet and look around we felt we needed to give a good cleaning before we unpacked. Drove back...

"Excellent location right by Caddo Lake. Walk to boat ride. However, the place wasn’t up keep properly. All counter spaces, table, night stand and kitchenette are dirty. Wipecloth is black. Owner didn’t provide check in info. Fortunately, I found a good number to contact him. Keith is friendly but little hard to contact with. Needs some fixes; some light bulbs off, internet passwords and username not clear, toilet bowl wobbling. Towels could be fresher. Otherwise, this is an excellent Location...
