Find Historic Hotels in Greenwich, VA

"Well, I did have a trouble with Expedia reservations booking me for a Time Share type of Hotel. On arrival , the front desk had to find the my reservation. Lucky I had all info and they fixed the trouble. They were awesome about that. Then, I was told that I was to go in the morning for a seminar about the property which I quickly declined. No problem. I found that I had to park in a lot that was half a block away and with a 2 day pass. Then, come back to the lobby to retrieve my luggage cart. Now, if you could just go to the lobby elevator, that would be great. But, you had to go outside by the pools and into another building to get to the other elevators. The room was very nice ,clean, comfortable, nice side view of the beach replenishment equipment and minor noise at 8:00 am but not a disaster. Ice machine was on even floors as I found out by the lobby saying no buckets, just bags to fill and take back to the room. I was meeting some family and told them to come to room, only to find out that I would have to direct them through the lobby etc. But they couldn't do that because you need a security card to get into the elevator. So, I met them outside. On check out, there was a discrepancy with the bill. My quoted amt was about $30 off from Expedia. Again, they were very helpful to adjust that. So, to sum it all up, I'd say it was a very nice place to stay if you are looking for a timeshare Very accommodating in every way, nice employees, some inconveniences. "

"This is a very nice place to stay. The staff is excellent, very friendly & helpful. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was the best! The restaurant inside this hotel was convenient for dinner & very tasty. "

"Great Stay...we live in Virginia Beach and booked a room so we wouldnt have to drive hom after bringing in the New Year! The check in pricess was smooth and we received a hi floor room which we requested. All went well and wew even granted a late check out the next day! Housekeeping staff was nice and i truly would book here again!! "

"The rooms were clean and neat. Our stay, we did a suite with a kitchen, which was very nice. I didn't know that these particular rooms had a double entrance that you share with other guests. This can be difficult if they aren't, well, common courtesy, and slamming doors throughout all hours of the night. This has nothing to do with the hotel itself, as all the staff was great and went above and beyond! The pools were nice! The local restaurants were great! Several within a block of the hotel. I would definitely come back if I was visiting the area."

"Everything was fine frombthe room to the balcony and the views. My only complaint is I think we need new mattresses. Hotel needs some remodling, but otherwise I have stayed here many times. Never a bad experience."
