"Place was cute. Very clean and has everything you need. Location is nice. Lake is walking distance. Very pretty. Kept losing power all night and morning. Then it snowed so we had to leave a day early to avoid getting stuck. Drove 3 hrs and only stayed 16 hrs total. Not a good trip. It would have been nice if we got a partial credit. Pete and Maida"

"This property was set back from a main road, so it felt private, even though houses were very close. Our favorite part was seeing all the wildlife when walking or driving; a few deer greeted us in the yard the night we arrives & were present the morning we left. "The town and area are lovely. The property itself was hard to locate with no visible name nor house number. It looked like a vacant store front. The "lobby" was behind dirty glass doors, and locked, with a lock box on the handle. Inside looked under construction with caution signs on the dirty floor. There was much lag time with property management communications. They refused to answer calls or texts even though they provide a "please call or text" message at the bottom of their property...

"Absolutely horrible experience with this property owner, Was notified one hour prior to my stay that it was cancelled for because of over booking..really !! I travelled that far and my stay was cancelled why? This has really turned me off to VRBO..I guess your company has poor communications..they said they called me, checked my call log no unknown phone calls, no messages.I messaged owner the morning of my stay for the key code for property..no answer until 2:05 pm that afternoon in a email...

"Нам очень понравилось это живописное место с видом на реку. Если хочется уединения и чтобы никто не трогал, эта локация то что надо. А еще кажется хозяева любят всякую живность и это прикольно. Около дома тусовались любопытный петух и индюшка, которые сначала прочекали нашу машину 😂 А потом обошли вокруг дома и загялнули прям в окно нашего номера и уже чекали нас! Вот и думай после этого что у животных нет чувств и минимального ин еллекта. В общем, хорошее место"

"This was a great place to stay! The host was very responsive, and we had the grounds to ourselves. The brewery/winery was closed, but the host still gave us a bottle which was delicious! We really enjoyed walking the grounds, and one of the barn cats gave us a tour. (The barn cats are very friendly, and we were actually sad to leave them.) We checked out Dutton’s for breakfast after the host recommended it, and it did not disappoint. The Cochecton Pump House was also a unique stop the night...

"The loft was so homey and inviting. My husband and I loved the convenience of walking everywhere in the town and coming back to a private relaxing apt that we felt safe and comfortable in. There were so many great restaurants ranging from pizza, subs to Chinese food or wonderful Italian restaurants and the Lake Wally Cafe was small but great food! We loved our stay and my husband even said he’d like to stay longer next time. We would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to visit...
