First the view: The cottage has an amazing view of the lake, sitting at the kitchen table there is a huge window and it feels like you are right on the water. "Very clean and comfortable. Even though it was just my husband and I staying there we had some folks drop in the celebrate my fathers 90th birthday and it was very accommodating. Very well stocked kitchen and the bed we slept in was very comfortable. Would love to be able to stay there in the summer but it is completely booked and I can understand why. "This dog friendly 2BR cottage is right on crystal clear Tripp Lake, with a large screened in porch/family room. It is small but very well appointed and maintained. The weekend we were there it was very quiet, and we had the beach to ourselves. Enjoyed kayaking, hiking nearby, and hearing the loons daily. Owners and manager were very thoughtful and responsive. Highly recommend!"

"I cannot say enough about this lovely VRBO property and it's wonderful hosts! Alison and Todd were warm and welcoming from the moment I pulled into the driveway; they even left an assortment of local pastries to enjoy! I stayed at Moon Glo cottage while I searched for a Maine home to call my own and I'm happy to now include Alison and Todd as new friends. This is a wonderful place to stay while you explore all that the area has to offer. Thanks again to my wonderful hosts and new friends!"

"The place was infested with bugs crawling on the walls and floors. The bedsheets had dead bugs on them when the top covers were removed. Bedsheets also had stains on them. There were no fans or a/c. We bought fans and left them there. The kitchen had some kind of fungus growing in it. All the ceilings had webs with spiders in it. Floors were not washed. All outdoor furniture were covered in mold. Would not recommend this place. "

"Despite the gray, chilly weather, the cabin was cozy and warm. I just snuggled down on the couch and alternated looking at my book and looking out the huge window. A walk on the trails to the beaver pond was a bonus. Was hoping to see an eagle or a deer; maybe next time.A dream of a stay! "

"We had a business training in Augusta and this was the perfect place to stay! It was beautiful, clean, cozy, and had the most perfect personal touches. The hosts were available for anything we needed (though we didn’t need much with their set-up!) and we only wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend for anyone!"
