"We had great stay in this place. It is nice and cosy. A good breakaway and get close to nature. Love to see all the Kangaroo and Emu. The jacuzzi is an extra bonus. If the host can just let us turn on the heater freely for the bathroom instead of using the timer, it will be way much better. We have no clue of when it will be on and off. "

"We enjoyed our stay at the Kookaburra Cottage immensely. The biggest drawcard was probably the location, short walk to the town centre yet quiet and we still got to enjoy the wildlife experience with Kookaburras, kangaroos, and an echidna around the corner! The indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit was enjoyed by the family. The heating in the cottage was very adequate which made for a cosy and comfortable stay. "The perfect place to stay in the Grampians with a dog! Such a fantastic property and heaps of space for the dog to run around. Perfectly well equipped and very clean and comfortable. Only 10 minutes drive from Halls gap too. We had such a great time and would definitely look to stay here again."

"An attractive house, it was clean and pleasant. there were a few minor niggles though, the lock on the front door didnt work. the woodshed was locked, its the middle of winter... we were there for a week there were no garbage bags, 3 dishwashing tablets, insufficenet toilet paper. More care needs to be taken to brief the cleaners so they know how ling 6 adults are staying for...."

Your nearest neighbour is the sister house to this one (The one we stayed at was called bushland, but ironstone is also available.) The only problem is the parking as we had to reverse in our cars because our unit is the back unit and the back car port is shared. Great location in the centre of Halls Gap with the canyon walls as a backdrop. So easy to reach restaurants & bars. Climbs through the rocks of varying difficulties. Facilities clean and plenty of wildlife to watch. We will come back."
