"This hotel is very convenient for regular buses into Oxford city centre and was a perfect spot for our two day visit. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent and I really appreciated the gluten free options that were available. The bar and seating area are very comfortable and inviting with a lovely patio area also available. I wasn't happy with the sign saying we had to pay for car parking. Not sure why people with a car should have this additional payment, however, in the end we had the charge dropped. Would definitely put me off staying in future if this was enforced."

" Walton Hall is gorgeous and we thought we were staying in there but we were put in a different building so disappointed with that but our room was spotless and well appointed, very close to restaurant and bar. Food was great but most of the bar staff were new and need more training. They were friendly but extremely slow and didn’t have a lot of bartending knowledge. "

"Having a conveniently located hotel with free onsite parking was great. Walking is easy from the hotel to shops and colleges. The bus line is also nearby. The staff were helpful with directions and recommendations touring Oxford."

"Staff were very helpful and friendly, the layout and the decor of the hotel is very nice, it's also lovely and clean, only issue was I found the beds to hard but my girlfriend didn't. "

"We arrived very late after 11pm, but still received a very warm welcome, got checked in quickly and invited for breakfast the next morning. Room was clean, good enough amenities too. Buffet breakfast was excellent, decent quality of ingredients and free flowing coffee. I would stay here again for sure. "
