"We had a wonderful time staying with Ruth and her family on the farm. She was exceptionally accommodating and helpful when we had to make some spontaneous changes to our booking due to travel difficulties. We stayed for almost two weeks and enjoyed spending free time with the dogs (especially the puppy), sheep and horses on the property. "There was a 4 pm check in. Property was not ready and we came back at 4.45 p.m. Rooms had cobwebs. Mouse in the dining room and big fireplaces blew out smoke when lit although we followed the directions. Firewood was for sale and not provided. Bathroom broke. "A girlfriend and I wanted a few days R and R. This stunning property and location fitted the bill. The beds were so comfortable! Felt cocooned for a few days. Just what we needed. Would recommend the property to anyone wanted to get away from it all. Only downside was the check in process as it was dark by 4pm. We struggled to find the property despite good directions and then found we could not see very well to open the key box. "
