"Enjoyed our stay at the hotel. There website needs updating urgently because directions to the hotel are wrong and confusing. There also needs to be a direct number to the Stag because at the moment if you phone the number on the website it puts you through to a hotel in Bournemouth where staff cannot help you or give you information about directions or any other help."

"Room 10 - right by the office. Handy for car park to rear. Quite noisy when the office is busy. When I arrived the guy on the desk said 3 nights for 3 people (I corrected him - 2 nights for 1 person) I was then shown to a single room which I assume he hadn’t planned to give me. He quickly removed what appeared to be used towels from the bathroom and replaced them. I then questioned the cleanliness of the bed - it looked used and there were hairs on the sheet (the guy blamed the cleaner who he...

"The restaurant was not open and I had booked because of this facility. My last night was noisy. The room itself was fine and the staff helpful."

"Nice very remote location, pub very nice, room however had issues, door handle came off, shower tray stained and dirty, dressing table and bedside tables very sticky, fan had the front missing so not usable, room not ready at 3.00. Needs TLC to make it worth the price charged."

"Excellent staff! It was so easy to check-in and we had no problems. You can purchase breakfast at a low price and it was great value. The location cannot be beat as it's very close to the rail station. There are so many restaurants, pubs and stores within easy walking distance."

"This is a really good price for a room near London. The communal bathroom is clean , but perhaps needs an update. The room was clean and well laid out with a fridge, bottles of water and tea and coffee. A nice touch. I was expecting it to be bad for the price but it was great! Only thing was that I asked for a slightly earlier check in and I didn’t even get a reply to my message. "

"As always, chalet was clean, tidy and comfortable. The surrounding is lovely and perfect for biking, kayaking and boating. "

"It was a lovely gated community , safe and serene surrounded by nature . A bit far from train station though if you don’t have a car . Harold wood station is 9 minutes drive where you can catch the Elizabeth Line . The only concern was that a fob should be given to long term guests to get in and out of the main gate , that was a hassle . Otherwise I would highly recommend this stay ."
