"We really liked the property. Clean bed linens and towels were appreciated. Some updated living room furniture would be nice, more seating, perhaps? Also, a bedside lamp or two instead of the very bright overhead fan lighting. Was grateful for the iron and board. Porch tables were very precarious. Maybe a game or two, uno or Yahtzee. But overall, we were happy with the accommodations. "

"We booked this location because it was near our wedding venue and we wanted our family to be together for the weekend. Doug was super prompt with any questions and his property is stunning and tranquil. We got plenty of family bonding time to soak in the moments as we went into our wedding weekend. You cannot go wrong by booking this property, best weekend ever!!!"

"The house was clean, nicely decorated and CONVENIENT to where we needed to be (Winthrop University and the Oratory). We were only there to sleep and eat breakfast. It was very nice with no real problems. It was a quiet neighborhood (no dogs barking through the night as a few reviews stated). You could hear the early morning train (thus the house's name) but it was in the distance and I found it comforting not annoying. I don't think it would even wake an infant. Maybe next time we will have time...

"The property is located close to downtown Rock Hill. Not the nicest part but not the worst. Houses in neighborhood easily build in the 1940s. Luther did a good of refurbishing the house to make the inside comfortable and functional. We were visiting for a sports tournament and home was conveniently locate to the multiple venues and within 5-10 minutes to restaurants and stores. Luther was great host and very responsive in answering any questions and addressing concerns."

"The house was immaculate. The pool was wonderful. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped. It is a peceful place and that is what we were looking for. I immediately liked where it was located as far as the drive, as well as on the lake itself. "Booked this to get away from the stress of our jobs. This cabin provided for a relaxing week. The owner provided all the necessary starter supplies even more so than a hotel including toothpaste, soap ,mouthwash. While just off of the road this cabin provided more quiet than any other we have stayed at (you feel secure and alone). The back deck was very serene and allowed for pleasant mornings to enjoy coffee. Would recommend for anyone wanting some quiet nights."
