"The staff were amazing and friendly. We were there for a funeral and had the celebration at the hotel after, they made the arrangements so easy in a hard time. The onsite pub/restaurant had great food at a decent price. The cleaning attendants did a great job on daily service. The only thing I felt was lacking was an in room safe, when travelling from out of country, it would be great for price of mind. "

"Had a beautiful , spacious and very comfortable 4 poster double/king sized bedroom. Breakfast options were extremely varied and plentiful, both cold and hot choices. Good to see fresh fruits avaliable quality local.produce sourced. Dining room very attractive; staff warm, hospitable but very efficient. Only gave 4 stars for property condition because it is undergoing a major refurbishment, some furniture and furnishings a little tired, but nothing to impact negatively on our stay. Certainly no noise or disturbance, although it was the weekend. Im sure it will be stunning on completion. Meanwhile, excellent value for money. "

"Room 386 is classed accessible but it is furthest from reception and the lift. Not suitable for those with walking difficulties due to the ridiculous distance from the lift. "
