"Lovely hotel, room was 10/10, good value. However quite thin walls, you could hear the chairs scraping on other floors (probably from the restaurant) which woke me up. Bathroom fan also ridiculously loud and annoying. Restaurant food was sub-par, slightly disappointing, the dishes did not match what was on the menu, definitely not worth the price. Staff were great and breakfast was lovely."

Unfortunately there was no way to contact the hotel directly to let them know i was arriving a day later than planned, or to change the room as i no longer needed the accessible room. On the booking website it would only allow me to change the room/dates at a cost, and phoning the hotel put me through to head office who told me to go through the booking site. "

"Stayed at The Waterfront Lodges many times now. Room was warm and spacious. Clean and plenty of towels. Hot tub was wonderful on such a cold break. Staff helpful and welcoming on arrival and throughout the stay. Alison is brilliant. Breakfast a little disappointing and the morning food area could do with a clean over. Would still be happy to stay and recommend to anyone who likes to relax in a warm hot tub looking at the ducks. And if you want a big breakfast, the room has a fridge so just...

"Had a great stay here rooms are very nice & would stay again. Only very small negative was check out time on my booking said 12pm, we had a cleaner walk in without knocking at 10:30 & then at 11:30 knocking to ask if we where leaving soon. I understand completely they have rooms to turn round & the mistake at coming in the first time I would have forgiven as a mistake but being rushed then at 11:30 it just felt like they wanted us out. "
