"Lovely hotel showing it age but in an elegant way. Food good breakfast was enjoyable and portions good. The location is stunning views to die for. Fantastic staff nothing to much not that we asked for much. The only drawback was the “caravan module toilet / shower room “ now I’m an above average sized person but if I’d been twiggey I would have struggled. I suppose you get what you pay for, but if I had known before I went I would have upgraded. A real letdown and really all I can remember about...

"Perfect place to stay for a romantic visit to Cornwall. Right by the sea and coast path. A traditional English country pub. Excellent food and a very well stocked bar with local beers, wines and spirits. Quaint, clean rooms with all the amenities. Every staff member we encountered was really friendly and helpful. "The hotel was in desperate need of refurbishment. Damp areas on corridor wallpaper and scratched and dirty skirting boards. Clothing hook hanging off shower room door and shower surround grubby. My son's room has no mattress protector. No one manned the lounge bar, you had to go to reception and ask the receptionist to come and serve drinks and wait until they had finished check in no snacks available . Tea and coffee in room but no courtesy biscuit. We were only there for 2 nights to view...
