"What a peaceful, relaxing few days at the Cabin on the Sky! The cabin was literally right on the river. My wife and I were able to see many Bald Eagles on the river. We enjoyed the rare experience of seeing an Eagle with a freshly caught fish in its talons. The hot tub was perfect, the cabin had everything one could need and then some. Definitely a 10 rating from us and recommend that you book it now."

"This is cabin is exactly what you would describe if asked to describe what a cabin should be like. Its perfectly rustic whith just enough modern touches. Everything was wonderful and clean with great instructions to run everything.the only tip I would give is to bring your own water"

"The property was everything we expected and more. The sounds of the river and view of the wildlife and mountains made this place so special. It was so relaxing. "

"The scenery during the day is serene. I highly recommend arriving when the sun is still out, otherwise it’s a bit spooky. There are a few flashlights plugged into the outlets inside. The river can be heard at all times, like a peaceful white noise. It was raining for our whole trip, so we only went outside for the hot tub, which was AMAZING after a long day of skiing. It’s 7 miles to the closest gas station, and even more to the market, so do some grocery shopping on the way in.My only...

"When we showed up, everything was ready to go. Hot tub heated and ready (a nice touch), a bottle of wine set out for the adults, and games and movies ready to go without trouble. "We had a vision for the perfect getaway from our busy lives and the Stilly river haus delivered. It’s just as charming in person, smaller than it looks in pics, but absolutely perfect for a couple or small family.
