"I had a wonderful stay at this holiday rental in Heraklion. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing trip. The terrace was a highlight—perfect for morning coffee with a great view of the sea. It’s in a quiet area but still close to local markets and beaches, which made exploring easy. The mix of modern amenities and a bit of local character made it feel welcoming and homely. Would definitely stay here again if I get the chance."

"The property is very well appointed and is big enough for a family of 10 to fit in very comfortably. There are just a few points to mention, you will need a car if staying at this villa as the local town is a good 20-30 minute walk away. Some of the indoor furniture and work surfaces have seen better days but we were impressed with the twice weekly cleaning and the attention to detail. The garden and pool are very well kept. Communication with the owner was excellent and nothing was too much...

"We arrived at our villa and were welcomed by our host who was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The villa and pool were both bigger than we expected. The location is idyllic for a serene and peaceful stay with beautiful sunsets and friendly local cats & kittens! There is very little to do in the immediate area so a hire car is essential but we found some beautiful beaches and tavernas just a short drive away. "

"Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und fühlten uns sofort willkommen. Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist einfach traumhaft, mit einem ungestörten Blick aufs Meer. Der Pool ist groß und wird täglich gepflegt. Abends konnten wir auf der Terrasse die wunderschönen Sonnenuntergänge geniessen – ein echtes Highlight. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in kleinen Supermärkten, die etwa 10 Autominuten entfernt sind."

"The villa is right by the sea, is spacious, has great internet and air con in all of the bedrooms. Lovely views and sunsets every night. Swimming pool is large and great for families. If you want to spend time in your villa and potter it’s perfect. Only 30 mins to Falasarna beach which is the best we visited - v clear water for snorkelling. Sun beds a little pricey but ok if you plan to stay for a few hours. With the seclusion comes the sight downside that the nearest minimart is around 25...

"We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful villa. The villa itself is stunning and extremely well looked after, with housekeeping and pool maintenance twice a week. The owners are exceptional hosts - the house was fully stocked with everything we needed (and more) and we were treated with gifts of bread, pastries and cookies from their bakery during our stay - a real treat. The surrounding area is very quiet but with a local restaurant, supermarket and the owners’ bakery within walking distance...

"We had such a good time at Emmanoyil's house. The pool, outdoor shower, backyard and view are amazing. The drive to the house is a bit intrepid on a narrow dirt road, so be prepared for that. The plus-side of that is that it feels very secluded up on the hill, so you are really able to relax. "

The owner, Karl, was very prompt replying to any queries and provided us with very detailed instructions of how to reach the villa along with lots of information on places to eat and visit."

"The villa was beautiful with so many features around the property. The neighborhood was walkable, with only a short trip to the beach. The property manager was very helpful and provided suggestions for our group. The bedrooms were comfortable and the A/C worked well. The WiFi worked best from outside of the villa. "We stayed in an ocean view room and the view was beautiful. Nice breeze. Location is high up with steep slopes, not feasible for older and those with bad backs. Property has elevator to avoid the slope but is hard to find. Definitely helpful once it is found. Interior could use some upgrades. But it was clean and comfortable enough. Enjoyed my stay. "
