A great base if you like being out and about. Our room was close to the lift so early morning and late in the evening, we could hear the comings and goings. "I enjoyed my brief stay at St Mellion’s. The staff were welcoming and the hotel was clean and tastefully decorated for the festive period. "Great place for a family get together. Plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub and games room were well used. The house is bright, modern and comfortable. Some of the double bedrooms were smaller than expected but fine overall. Beds were very comfortable. It was useful to have extra living space in the annexe. The lounge there became a temporary home office. One downside-the dishwasher was not adequate for the number of people staying at full occupancy. We spent too much time at the kitchen sink....
