Welcome to Miranda House, your tropical home rising above the Caribbean Sea, just steps away. This luxury two-bedroom, two-bath house with views of the ocean and sunset is surrounded by lush vegetation and countless options for lounging in the sun or shade, including a wrap-around veranda.

Miranda House has access to a stunning members-only pool on the Atlantic side of Wykee Estates (a quick drive across Queen’s Highway) and, then, just past the pool, access to one of Eleuthera’s famous pink-sand beaches.

Miranda House features a large living room with a 50” flat screen Smart TV and DirecTV, Sonos sound bar, and BluRay DVD player. A writing desk, a screened in reading porch, a large screened in dining room that seats 8 beneath cooling fans, and an indoor dining area with a table that seats six.

The fully stocked kitchen has an open plan and leads to a kitchen island perfect for cocktails.

The upstairs bedroom features a king-sized bed, a 40” flat screen Smart TV, a spectacular deck with sweeping views of the Caribbean Sea and sunset, and a private bath with shower.

The downstairs bedroom features a king-sized bed and a private bath with shower, with views of the lush tropical grounds.

Walk out onto your enormous wrap-around veranda with sun and shade and views of the surrounding gardens, a perfect spot to lounge with a book or relax with morning coffee or a cool drink.

Miranda House comes with its very own bar! Welcome to the El Bar, the only private bar on the island. Situated just behind the main house, air-conditioned, equipped with refrigerator, wet bar, electricity and its very own history, just bring your own bottles and mixologists and enjoy.

Miranda House is steps from the Wykee Estates boat ramp where fishing or cruising charters can retrieve you for a day of adventure. The Wykee boat ramp has some of the best snorkeling on the island, steps from your door, with many varieties of colorful tropical reef fish. You can also fish for fresh grouper right off the ramp.

Great House
We just stayed at Miranda House. It was everything we could have asked for. The beach was amazing, and there were never more than 3 other people within 400 yards of us. The home is exactly as shown in the pictures, and the sunsets from the upstairs bedroom balcony were worth the price by themselves.

Excellent home for 2 couples
We booked our trip to Eleuthera. I wanted to find a perfect home for us and another couple. Miranda house was absolutely amazing from the screened in porch, where we ate breakfast, to the other, screened in porch with couch, so that we could lay around and read and drink coffee to the two wonderful bedrooms worth king size beds and their own bathrooms the home was absolutely amazing. Beautifully decorated with everything you could need for your stay.

Fits of all, Linda was AMAZING. She made our stay as flawless as she could have. Yeah, we lost power, and water, but Linda helped us immediately. Beautiful house all in all. There is a coffee maker if anyone else reads this the answer is yes!

Upstairs bathroom shower had a leak that dripped down to the kitchen, so the kiddos just used ours. Location was great in in proximity to some of our favorite beaches. Community pool was plus with kiddos when we had a windy day that made the water rougher than usual. Loved the screened in porches for meals and to allow a breeze to go through the house when we were out.

Memorable Vacation
Miranda House was awesome for our family. Loved the location for exploring the island, all the beaches and restaurants. Beach and pool access was great and very close. Boat ramp was a fun place to walk to during down time. House had a great sunset view from upstairs bedroom porch. Comfortable seating on the porches all around the house. Definitely need a rental car to explore the area, you'll want to see everything. The vegetation around the property gave privacy but it was also a very peaceful location. Wish we had beach chairs and umbrella but some of the beaches had shady areas to sit. Host provided an awesome list of places to visit and we hit them all... Such a fun family location spot!

House was cleanand had just about everything you would need including a washer/dryer and backup generator.Recommend that some of the slider doors be looked at as thefront two are difficult to open and shut.Most likely their glide tracks need cleaning and lubricant applied.Again a good location and close to many beautiful beaches

Perfect spot to spend a relaxed week in the bahamas
The listing was hard to find, but once we found it it was perfect. Beautiful views, beautiful home, fully stocked with necessities and the kitchen was great though it had no measuring cups and measuring spoons. The second night was rough. I gave the property 4 star on listing correctly because they have a generator and it’s listed that they have it but it doesn’t work, which they know, it was set to off and we had two big storms that rolled through. The house, especially the master gets very hot without AC so we slept in the lower room and our daughter slept on the couch. That would not have worked if there was two couples. We also cooked up all the refrigerated food we bought since the power did not come back on for almost 24 hours. After that we had intermittent power outages. Other than that, everything was awesome. Beds were comfortable. They provide an amazing amount of towels. They have a gas stove which helps when the power is out. Lots of places to sit outside and relax as well as inside. The pool is a blast. It’s across queens highway and about 1/2 mile walk but it’s nice. Beach was beautiful and we snorkeled right off the dock and saw a starfish and lots of tropical fish. Very fun! I highly recommend the house. They also gave us lots of great places to eat. I would recommend La Bouganvillea 100% at lunch. It’s beautiful there and the snorkeling is awesome there as well.

Les espaces intérieurs sont parfaits et les terrasses permettent une agréable ouverture sur l'extérieur à tout moment. Tout, dans la maison, fonctionne (ce qui n'est pas nécessairement le cas partout ailleurs sur cette île paradisiaque, mais peu aménagée) et les responsables sur place interviennent à la moindre éventuelle question. Nous avons notamment apprécié le calme absolu, l'environnement verdoyant et aussi la sécurité du lieu, très protégé. The artwork was beautiful.The kitchen was a bit tired but there were pots, pans, dishes, etc that made up for it and we enjoyed eating in for a few nights. The beds were very comfortable and and the bathrooms were adequate. It was spotlessly clean and we had access to Linda, the manager if we needed anything. She was very helpful and returned calls or messages promptly.We loved waking in the morning and relaxing on the porch and listening to the birds . Outdoor furniture was comfortable. We also loved the side porch with the large table because of the cool breeze. It would nice to have a comfortable chair to relax in the late afternoon when it is too hot to sit on the porch deck. We did have a view of the sea from the upstairs deck and we enjoyed watching the stars at night.Location was good and we liked being close to many restaurants -- Pascals was practically across the street! We had excellent meals at Pascals, Tippy's (our favorite, Bouganvillea and lunches at Bacchus. We didn't use the beach on the Atlantic side as it was too choppy for us. But there are so many beautiful beaches nearby so that it wasn't problem. Also, we used the house's beach chairs and towels. Eleuthera was a marvelous island to visit -- the people are incredibly warm and helpful. It is very safe and we feel that beaches we have been to in the Caribbean. Miranda House served our needs and we felt at home in this beautiful property. Kristin at Vacation Rentals was extremely helpful from booking and throughout our stay. We highly recommend them and will spread the word to our friends.

It seemed that the house had been closed up for a while and was a bit dusty for us as we had allergies. This was the only issue we had but we understand how a wooden house would be if closed up. Great views from the bedroom and beautiful garden area downstairs, the power went out a couple of times, and would have liked to have the generator working.
