"From the booking process throughout our stay Kim was wonderful and very quick to respond to any questions. The home was beautiful, clean, quiet, and spacious. The only small complaint we had about our stay, and this had nothing to do with the home, is that all but two restaurants in town require reservations. Made it slightly difficult to find a meal after returning from our daily activities at unscheduled times. Again, not on the host, more a comment about the area in general!"

"Beautiful area if you enjoy biking and exploring the countryside. The accommodations have everything you need to be self sufficient and are a central location for day trips into major cities such as Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, or the Hague, however a car rental is likely a necessity."

We arrived after traveling all day tired and didn’t realize we would need to do this as well. "Lake House 74 exceeded our expectations! We were a group of 6 - 2 couples with our adult children. The location of the house was perfect - just outside of Leiden, situated along a canal. The house had everything we needed for our stay. Stephan was easy to contact, very responsive to all of our requests, and made us feel at home. He also had great suggestions for local activities. Be sure to rent a boat and drive through the canals to get to the center of Leiden. I would stay here again...

Spacious and comfortable for 5 adults, beautiful views of the farm from the large family area, nice quiet location, stocked well enough to make nice dinners and breakfasts, with plenty of glassware/dishes to go a few days before running the dishwasher.
