"Splendid little place high on the hill behind Chinas with huge views. Really welcoming, handy little private garden with our room, good pool at a comfortable temperature. Food was good simple family cooking but very well executed. We have eaten in more expensive places in the region but sometimes after a long drive something non-challenging is just what the dr ordered. Lots of wine for sale and the well stocked fridges in the room were at cellar door prices. What not to like? We will...

"This accommodation was a stop over for travel from east to west in France. We wanted to keep away from towns and liked the idea of a in house dinner and breakfast. Both were superb . Our host filled the evening dinner time with many interesting tales and points of interest, in particular wine. The friendly St Bernard was also charming company during our meals."

"This place would have been what it promised, a place of dreams: remote, rural, beautiful, wonderfully appointed, easygoing, friendly. BUT. After going quite a long distance out of our way to find this special place, being greeted by the friendly owner, moving into our room, and hitting the pool, the owner returned to tell us that he had double-booked the room, and we would have to leave. So we had to get out, get dressed, and leave to make another drive to find another hotel (sight unseen)......

"The host were a very charming young couple, nothing was too much trouble for them. A very enjoyable three night stay. Both speak good English. The accommodation is in the excellent ecologically converted barn. A good sound build with recycled items of furniture. Very comfortable beds. Good shower and excellent breakfast, all very relaxed, and set in peaceful surroundings. "
