"We stayed in the island lodge. The lodge itself is very nice, only downpoint of the actual lodge is lack of storage space in the kitchen. My biggest complaints about this place were 1. When making the booking it NEVER mentioned that the only way to access your lodge is via a small rowing boat. I kid you not. I was with a family of 5, and none of us had ever rowed a boat a day in our lives. Had i known this upfront i would never have booked this lodge. THIS ROOM IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ANYONE WITH...

Bussum is such a beautiful, quiet little town that was a perfect escape from the hustle of Amsterdam, while still being close enough to everything and incredibly accessible by train. "Erik met us by the boat jetty and took us round to Bohemien. He was warm and welcoming. He showed us where everything was and how things worked (some hosts don’t bother).
