"Loved this hotel, probably the nicest hotel in Dakar. It's modern yet has a beautiful relaxed vibe and atmosphere to it. The location is perfect, close to nice restaurants/bars but also within good proximity to other attractions like Ile de Ngor, the African Renaissance Monument and town. I much preferred being located here and visiting neighbouring Almadies. Staff were kind and helpful and nothing was too much for them. Their restaurant also serves delicious food."

"Hotel was very good with very large rooms. Room were clean and hotel was very quiet compared to the vibrant streets of Dakar. I used to stay in the center of Dakar but this was quite lovely. Hotel staff were very polite and friendly but need to be more engaging to guests. Breakfast was good but need improvement. Coffee station was almost empty and I can have only one cup for 3 times I went for breakfast. Besides it was all good and will love to stay there again."

"Every time I come to Dakar for work, I stay here! Nothing like working on the balcony with a sea breeze and view of the pirogues! :) The staff are also amazingly friendly and wonderful, and you can just walk out the door and be on the beach and have access to all the restaurants around, incluiding the delicious seafood at Cabane du Pecheur next door!"

"I had to clean the room myself, and bedding were offered to be changed only once in the week. Water in the bathroom strangely stopped and led to usage of a bucket instead. Insects were found in the bathroom and the manager explained it was because he has put a pesticide, so it was normal. All this in top of paying the bill for hydro used in the room (information provided after the room is rented and this is non refundable. The area is so unsafe, people stay inside after sunset by fear of being assaulted. Simply put, the offer is a scam."
