"I had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at this hotel. They organised a taxi to pick me up at the airport, as I arrived very late, and all went seamlessly. The hotel is located centrally for all attractions, the rooms are spacious and clean, with aircon and good WiFi. "Maison Abaka is an oasis in a chaotic city. It has a lovely location, right on the beach, overlooking Mgor Island. "Hotel was very good with very large rooms. Room were clean and hotel was very quiet compared to the vibrant streets of Dakar. I used to stay in the center of Dakar but this was quite lovely. Hotel staff were very polite and friendly but need to be more engaging to guests. Breakfast was good but need improvement. Coffee station was almost empty and I can have only one cup for 3 times I went for breakfast. Besides it was all good and will love to stay there again."

"Really enjoyed my 3 nights here and I found it very relaxing. Staff are great, really helpful and very friendly. The setting is great and people in the surrounding area are great. The lake is fascinating as are the salt harvesters. The only negative point (for me) is that had I been travelling with a partner I would have wanted slightly more privacy in the toilet!
