"Place was great. The only complaint we would have is that the lower level was quite chilly. An extra heat source down there in the winter would be good. It was a little chilly for the little ones. "

"We loved every minute. We can't wait to go back next year and book a longer stay. The loons were magical. The location was so peaceful and breathtakingly beautiful. Our beach was alittle rough for our 6yrs old but there was a public sandy beach a few minutes away. If you're attached to your cell phone this isn't your place. There is cell reception 15minutes away if need be. I honestly didn't miss having access. More time for family to concentrate on each other. If you go remember bug spray"

We enjoyed the fire pit and spending time outside. This is a great space to get together with a larger group. Gorgeous lake views and sunset."

"The property was nicely secluded, with multiple trails leading up to the top of the escarpment with a lovely view of Golden Lake. The cabin itself was clean and cozy, and the AC was perfect for sleeping as we went in a 35° July heatwave. Great little fire pit with affordable firewood supplied by the hosts. Be mindful of leaving any dry food in the screened-in kitchenette if going out for more than an hour -- the local chipmunks are hungry and know what they're looking for. Only minor...

"Three generations stayed together (mother/daughter/granddaughter) and we all enjoyed our stay! From the inviting outside fire pit surrounded by comfy chairs upon our late check in, our early morning swim/hot tub, the lovely choices in the buffet breakfast, comfy beds & bedding and the quiet room for great night sleeps we were very satisfied with our girls long weekend! Thank you."
