"The friendly staff greeted me at the door, spoke enough english so check-in was easy and quick. They then showed me around and proceeded to assist with carrying luggage up the stairs to my room, above and beyond customer service - as with everywhere in Japan. A nice quiet accommodation with an instant friendly warmth when you walk through the door. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay here."

"一泊の利用です。 湯涌温泉が、試験的に金沢駅から送迎バスを運行している期間だったので、帰りだけ利用させていただきました。 お宿では、おいしいコーヒーを300円でいただけます。 温泉チケットが2枚いただけて、1箇所は徒歩数分のところにあり、もう1箇所はオーナーが車で連れて行ってくれました。 どちらもとってもよいお湯でした！ 食事が心配でしたが、高尾食堂さんが近くにあるので大丈夫でした。 朝食は、お宿でにゅうめんとコーヒーを500円でいただけます。 お天気がよければ、星空を見に行ったり、季節ならきのこ狩りに連れて行ってくれたりもするそうです。 また、季節のいい時に行きたいです。"

The host was also lovely and gave a few local restaurant recommendations to us. It’s about 25-30 minutes walk from the castle & station, although very easy to get taxis if it’s later in the evening.
