"We (a group of 10 friends) stayed here for a week. The home is on the Grindelwald side of the river, a short walk from "Terminal" (for train connections, and gondola to Kleine Scheidegg), and with a bus stop literally out the front door (with connections to the center of Grindelwald). "Secluded property on the edge of town. Bus stop is a 5 minute walk from the house or a 30 minute walk into Grindelwald. Kitchen is well stocked. Plenty of comforts of home make this a beautiful and welcome retreat. There are a lot of steps to gain access to the property so keep that in mind for all members of your party. "

The unit is conveniently located near Grindelwald Terminal (train station & Eiger Express) & a 1-2 minute walk to local bus routes 21 & 23 to get you to the heart of town, so it's very accessible if you're traveling on public transportation systems. "A very comfortable base for an active holiday. If you dont have a car, the house is quite a walk uphill but the views are stunning. We enjoyed our stay very much. The hosts, Patrick and Natalie were very helpful and friendly."

"It was a good holiday"

"5 stars! The Base is extremely close to the main train station and the gondola, all a few steps out the door. The apartment was pleasantly clean and had a ski room to store my gear. The friendly gentleman at the front was super helpful and accommodating, he made the entire stay a wonderful experience for me. I will definitely come back to this property. "
