"The property and staff are fantastic,the only thing I’ll do differently next time is change to a rear facing room as the sea view room we had was very noisy but that was obviously down to people enjoying themselves on a Saturday night.Unfortunately we had to leave early Sunday meaning we tried to get an early night but already looking forward to our next visit. King size double bedroom to rest in after a days exploring.

"Sea Cottage was just the place my wife and I wanted for a mini-break in the New Forest. A moderate walk from the town centre made it accessible, and car parking was easy. The cottage was clean and with excellent facilities. All our contact with Richard was helpful and friendly. We would be happy to book again. "

The property is very well equipped with everything you need. Lovely welcome pack to get you started. Beautifully clean, comfortable beds. Home from home. "A really unique location in a converted boathouse right on the waterfront. When not out and about we spent a happy time just sitting watching the tide come in and out with loads of bird-life and passing cruise linsers. Right by Waitrose for emergency shopping and very short walk to restaurants"

A previous review mentioned the garden not being secure for their dog. Before booking I checked if this was being rectified as we have 2 Westies. We’ve enjoyed being so close to both the New Forest and the sea at Milford. Bournemouth is easily accessible for day trips too."

"Really lovely property warm cosy and comfortable. Beds very good quality. Plenty of secure parking, lovely garden. We would highly recommend. Ideally need a car to visit local areas but only short journeys. Would have liked a local pub for evening out or a meal unfortunately the closest was about 1 mile but it’s closed down, this issue didn’t matter as we had a fabulous time and saw friends that we haven’t seen since before COVID so it was very special. "We were a group of 6 adults and 4 dogs with an age range of 60 -82. The house is perfect if you have mobility issues. The location is perfect if you have dogs and the house had everything we required for cooking. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay - thank you "

"This is the greenest hotel we have been to. We saw green stuffs everywhere, green walls, large green recycle bins, homely and low key low carbon count and Kind of English style furniture. Plenty of organic foods at the Cafe. Certainly not Ritz but comfortable and Neat and Easy here. A perfect haven for people tired of exuberance."
