"This place had so many issues. The toilets didn’t work properly, only the upstairs bathroom flushes. So if you think you can have more than 5 people to this property - please be aware! The host put up an ad with a bunkie, which was on our arrival locked up cause the toilet apparently flooded everything and we were short of beds. The garage has the worst smell. It smells moldy. No one can possibly stand there for more than 5 minutes let alone sleep there as suggested by the host. The beds...

"We enjoyed the well-maintained well-equipped cottage. We got a guidebook that explained a lot about living at that cottage. Unfortunately, the heating in the basement, which was separate from the heating upstairs, did not work. Hot water for showers was a little problematic. Other than these inconveniences, we enjoyed our stay there. Communication with the owner was very good."

"Sandy Edge was exactly as described in the listing. It reminded me of my childhood cottage time in a wood cottage in Muskoka. I loved the wood interior and the thoughtful layout of the cottage. We had 3 couples and 2 kids stay during our time and we all had our own space. It was nice to have a couple bedrooms on the main level so that we had our own area.
