Be sure to make certain the road access from Airlo is open! Google maps will take you up to a snow closed road in the winter. Turning around on this narrow road at night is sketchy. Your view from an altitude of 4500 feet looking across at the snowcapped Wetterhorn Is lovely, with excellent views of the valley below and the Schwartzhorn as well. "Fiesch is a great place to base yourself and the chalet is a good size and well equipped. I have just marked it down because it's a real slog to get up to the chalet. I wouldn't recommend if you are not reasonably fit unless you have a car. The place was pretty clean and any problems with the lock on the front door previously mentioned have been sorted. "Cannot give anything else other than 5 stars purely for the location. Clean and well equipped kitchen. Comfy beds although the doubles were 2 camp beds pushed together. Nice cabin feel but could do with being updated. TV was too small but the view outside made up for this. WiFi was good with no dropping out at all. "Although this was in the information it was hard to experience (After a long day driving) that you have to carry all you luggage 35 m uphill. The house is very well equipped and nice located. The owner was helpfull and has arranged a cable car-pass for us which we used many times last week."
