"The cottage was lovely! The azaleas and dogwoods were in full bloom. Just as cute and clean as the pictures. Lake Hamilton is a gorgeous area. Even though weather wasn't perfect, there was plenty to do: shopping, Gangster Museum, eating, and my favorite - sitting in peace and quiet and looking out at Lake Hamilton! Will definitely go back."

These owners put so much into making this a perfect vacation spot, even down to a nice welcome gift we did not expect. Sometimes rentals have low quality items in them, but not this one, everything about this place is top-notch. Highly recommend it."

"We loved our stay at Shady Pines! The location is nice and close to Mt Ida, but far enough out of town to be super quiet and peaceful. The beds were both very comfortable and the rooms both had plenty of space to settle into. The chest of drawers in both rooms were both more than enough for our clothes as well and didn't even needs the closet. The bathrooms were well done, had solid water pressure and had enough space. The kitchen was nice, had plenty of counter space and covered everything...
